If You Could Ask Your Bishop

Lower the beaver dam tuition already.

Lol. And if not open a school for poor Catholic families so they don't have to go to public school and quit closing all the churches and school programs in inner-city neighborhoods, leaving those Catholics to join evangelical churches instead.

AND if you are going to close an historic immigrant church and sell the building...REMOVE the altar, statues, altar rails, stained glass, etc... so crazy people don't desecrate those holy things!

(we've had some problems in New Orleans...)

"Do you realize the lesser evil is for the child to attend public rather than your diocesan school?"

And many others

Maybe in some cities, but our diocesan Catholic schools are really really good and they also produce a handful of seminarians every year. Plus the public schools in New Orleans are really poor and dangerous and have been voted the worst in the U.S. 3 years in a row after Miami and the District of Columbia. The inner city churches and schools still get closed, while other ones in different sections of the city recieve additional funding and luxuries like 'airconditioning' in our 110 degree early and late summer heat indexes.

Why haven't you excommunicated the Prime Minister yet?

Are you from Canada?

Cretiens conduct in legalizing gay marriages makes me (almost) embarassed to be a Canadian living overseas. He is an embarassment to our country and should be impeached.

In my humble opinion...

Yep, I am Canadian, and I live in Ottawa. So the PM's Archbishop is my Archbishop. Not just homosexual marriage though, he's said some REALLY disgusting things about abortion and said that he can believe what he wants.

The same is true for the newly-crowned Paul Martin, however, he's not quite as bad.

I actually had the chance yesterday to talk to my bishop but I couldn't speak.

He gave a powerful homily on being faithful to the Church, and my heart was simply overflowing, so I just shook his hand.

Well, I started this thread because we were supposed to have a Q&A with ours, but I felt really sick last night, and was not able to make it after dinner. I prayed, watched tv, and slept. And, when I felt the same way this morning, I brought out all the old video tapes of a now cancelled show "Titus," and "The Simpsons." watched, ate, and slept. I definitely needed that.

Ok, I seem to have gone off track on this post, but I am still not 100%

God Bless
