coffins around our neck?

i found this at some message board
good day!

the iglesia ni cristo does not, in any way, start an argument with you, unbelievers.

the Bible is clear:  "I will make the wise geniuses, and the geniuses, wise".  this is the reason why we at INC do not argue about trivial matters; what is important is we are blessed to be a part of the church.  we consider it our wealth that we have common sense:  we don't kneel before statues like pagans, we don't venerate stones and  we don't mock Christ's death by wearing the cross on our necks (it's like  wearing miniature coffins).

of course, it is pointless to argue with you people because in your church services, you hardly open the bible.  also, most of you are baptized without even understanding the trinity.  your basic arithmetic ability alone (1+1+1=1) deserves nothing but compassion from us. Cheesy

we worship God Almighty on our own terms and we thank Him for the glorious state the church has attained.  we are proud that we are members of the INC and each day, we ask the Lord Jesus to help us keep our faith.

therefore, we pray that you guys build your own website  and  create your own stuff in cyberspace.  leave us INC members alone.  we suggest you research on your own doctrines first - for example, why is God divided into three? why does the priest share the bread but drink all the wine?  why do you terrify babies by dressing them up and then pouring water on their foreheads? (they always scream!)  where in the bible is it writtem that mary and your many, many saints ascended to heaven?  why are you scared of your own church by making the sign of the cross each time you pass by it or enter it?

let us share with you this fact:  NOTHING that anyone can say can ever stop the hand of God.  the iglesia ni  cristo will continue to shine all over the world and reflect God's majesty.  the unbelievers can cry with envy and say all bad things about us,  but the fact is we ARE blessed and sadly, you are not.

we hope that God will extend His hand to you and call you to the church so that you may learn how to worship Him properly.  and if, like lucifer, you insist on your "knowledge", then good luck in joining him in the lake of fire.  Grin

may you also recognize that by hurting other people, adopting a malicious mind, envying other people's success or acting out of pure insecurity...you show clearly that you are definitely NOT part of God's people.

when you're done researching about your own doctrines and horrified enough with what you will certainly find out, then we at the iglesia ni cristo, invite you to attend our worship services.

peace!  Cheesy
Right... four contextual readings every sunday and three on weekdays is definitely hardly opening the Bible.

Only a tad presumptuous...

Yes because knowledge is really opposed to God. My goodness gracious.

Cheesy indeed. But sarcasm aside, the only thing I can think to do for them is pray...

Extra ecclesiam nulla salus

ohh yeah and how the hell does a cruxifix mock the death and passion of our Lord? it shows that we know what he did for us. IT was the greatest act of kindness and selflessness to die for the forgivness of sins of the world.

Christ is so heavy because he bears the weight of the world.

i know what you mean when i am at school i am alone in my faith. that is the oddest feeling i come from a very Catholic city and to go somewhere where in a Religion class i have been told i was going to Hell is the worst feeling in the world. i honstly have no idea how i have become so strong in my faith either. i just have prayer is a big part of it but i have come to realize that God gave me the strength to deal with all the hecklers and the haters. my biggest thing is when The Passion came out i was alot more emotional at some parts :sadder: b/c of the hecklers and the haters. i have lost dates b/c the guy finds out i am a very strong Catholic and will not change so they dump me telling me that we are unequally yoked. it hurts :sadder: to have to sit at home on a saturday night when you at college b/c there is no one that really wants to befriend you too close b/c of religious beliefs. last time i checked we were all Chistians, but some where along the line some people have lost that important fact.

they hate what they do not understand! :shield:

that is how i feel. i have friend who turned her back on her faith b/c of the treatment she got from others, while i have gotten stronger. God has a funny way of making us stronger if we obey and pray. i have tried every year to start an interfaith group and have always been voted down being told that the BSU is enough for other faiths. and when i try to start a Catholic group i get hate mail and hate phone calls and have been told that i would never get anythign like that approved and they have been right but i have one more year to try! :carebear: :underdog:

Ash Wednesday

Venerate stones?

That's a new one.

If anyone asks, Catholics cross themselves when passing a Catholic church because they are paying their respects to the Blessed Sacrament present there.
we worship God Almighty on our own terms
They sure do! :tiphat:
