Ooh! Do that! That'd be awesome!... Maybe you should consider that too for 59beads. Like as an option maybe? One could either do it with the Latin audio, no audio, or English audio? I personally don't know how to do that kind of thing, but somebody must.
VERY good idea. I will do that, definitely.

And as for who gets to say the Latin? Anybody who has a place to record!

Cam42 or Raphael, do you have access to a decent recording setup (or live near Dallas/Ft Worth)? Fr Pontifex doesn't have to do it. We can definitely share the love with all phatmassers.

Are you fluent in Latin?

We have to be careful. Phatmass is known for making modernist errors.

And I like to argue with them. :P

I'm fluent in Ecclesiastical Latin, I sing in a choir that almost only sings Latin for Masses. :)

Here is an online pronounciation guide for Latin: http://home.earthlink.net/~thesaurus/thesa...tion_Guide.html

I dunno if it has audio though... I just know it is on my buddy thingy with some more Latin funness...

make sure your online guide is for ecclesiastical latin and not classical latin... we don't want people thinking v's sound like w's or anything

 because a V should be a V!!!!

Actually, V's did sound like W's, and we know that because of a transliteration from Greek which would only make sense as W.

However, I do believe that the first record of a V-sound in Latin was during Augustus, so it is certainly old enough to be considered genuine Latin.
