Azriel
The gestational diabetes diet works. Its a combo of eating not too many carbs at the wrong time of day, plus making sure you get in the fruits and veggies. Very healthy. A pain in the preggo chick's butt, but I plan on continuing to follow it after baby hammer gets here.

God Conquers
The atkins diet is the best easily accessible one. If you don't mind spending money (or have money to spend or an incredible insurance program) the absolute best diet program is one which has been popping up here in Canda called the Dr. Bernstein diet. I lost 80 lbs in 3 months on it. It's doctor supervised and safe and all that, plus they help you move back gradually to a regular diet so you dan't go crazy and gain it all back in a month. God Conquers
It's basically like a stricter atkins
Jake Huether
I was just in the back alley thread, and when I read this: But it calls for eating more protiens and FATS, I thought that it said, "...eating more protien and fluffy air extractions,.." LOL. That would be a wierd diet!
Jake Huether
Geez peple, don't mean to sound disrespectful or anything, but you know...depriving your body of carbs won't do any good...you'll loose muscle and then you'll gain back what you lost in fat. Exercise + Balanced Diet = It works! I would tend to agree. As long as the intake = output, then you won't have probs (in most cases). Try to do certain things to burn a little more energy. Then you won't have to kill yourself not eating certain things.
