IcePrincessKRS
I wear both, just depends on my mood at the time. I got my glasses when I was 16, and contacts when I was 19. Right now I have on my glasses but I'll probably change into my contacts when I get ready to go out later. If you have a pair of glasses that look really good on I say they're just as good or better than contacts (because then they're like an accessory, not just something you HAVE to wear lol). I also think that everyone who wears contacts should have a backup pair of glasses. (I know a couple people who have gotten eye infections and couldn't wear their contacts for awhile. I haven't gotten that, but when I am pregnant my eyes get too dry and I can't wear contacts until after I have the baby.)
Noel's angel
How can u poke something in ur eye??????eugh, i think i would be sick if i had to do that
IcePrincessKRS
You don't poke it in. lol You hold it on the tip of your finger and gently hold it UP TO your eye until it kind of suctions on. The only time you actually need to touch your eye is when you remove the lenses, and thats usually really easy, too. In college it would crack my friends up how I put my contacts in. Because I'm right handed I kind of wrap my right arm around my head when I put it into my left eye. lol

Carrie
I've never even considered contacts for that same reason. The thought of putting something in my eye weirds me out.

Old_Joe
I prefer glasses. they make me look smart and intelligent, and then you get to know me.
sweetpea316
I got glasses in 1st grade and then contacts in 7th grade. I use my contacts mostly, but sometimes use my glasses when I feel like it. Yep...gotta love bad vision... maybe I'll get that Lasik surgery someday...

Jaime
I started wearing glasses last year. Pretty much just for driving. The weird thing was when I got them, I felt taller for a few weeks. Walking was very strange. Anybody else have that reaction?
iggy
yes. i have had when i switch frames. it is just that your lower line of vision stops so much higher than it used to, and your body makes assumptions
