Fides_et_Ratio
Okay, so perhaps it's just my general first response untrusting nature... but does dUSt require people who claim to be religious (i.e., priests, brothers, nuns, etc.) to provide authentic credentials demonstrating their ordination/vows.. etc.?? ..just curious. jezic
i think they do, but i am not sure. Though you can kind of tell and i don't think it is something that people would lie about on here.

We live in a crazy world.
IcePrincessKRS
Not to mention, NUNS, who are cloistered really don't get much internet acces if any at all (I have a friend who is cloistered, she doesn't have net access and is only allowed to write 2 letters to family or friends per month). Aloysius
dUSt is sexist so sisters are discriminated against at PM lol... err... I'm not sure any sisters have actually been on long enough to be noticed (if they've come at all to PM) and tagged.

Guest Eremite
I think priests have some sort of "membership card" that they have to carry around from diocese to diocese, in order to prove to the local Bishop that they are priests, and get his permission to offer Mass. Not sure if Archbishop dUSt is strict on this.
Dreamweaver
Heh, since everyone is arguing whether sisters (nuns/female religous) can have special identifying icons, has anyone forgotten about male religious? Monks/brothers....if sisters can surf Phatmass, nothing should keep the bros from hanging out here!
Fides_et_Ratio
It'd be cool if they were on PhatMass.. it'd just be cooler if they had icons and "proof" w/ dUSt so we would know they were truthful and faithful to the Church they claim to serve.
