So many screwed up little minds!

"Marriage is about mutual self-giving. I'm giving to self, so what are you doing?"

[quote name='Brother Adam' date='Jun 19 2005, 09:30 PM']I'm sitting here (as I've been the last three days) minding my own business and making websites and studing and the wife has the GULL to come in and start nagging me ("the dishes haven't been done in two weeks! That's all I ask!" and "You still haven't fixed the can opener....its been three months now!")

What are they thinking?

I think it must have something to do with working full time while you "sit there (as you've been the last three days) minding your own business." :haha: ;)

As my bishop said after he ordained three new priests, "As my mother told me, 'You may be an ordained priest, but you still have to take out the garbage.'"

[quote name='Old_Joe' date='Jun 20 2005, 02:35 AM']speaking of nagging wives, Mary had to ask Jesus to change the water into wine.

Only that would have been a "nagging" mother. ;)

Adam, I can understand about fixing the can opener, as fixing stuff is men's work. But as for washing the dishes, you should get Teresa to wash the dishes. Washing dishes is women's work! :P

 Y'all know I'm just kidding!

I have a simple rule
"tell me what to do, or how to do it but not both" Telling me both what to do AND how to do it is a quick way to have the Job unfinished and me with a drink in front of the TV. As for unfinished jobs well women just need to understnad that us men nhave a differnat idea of time than they do.
