JP2Iloveyou
The Cure of Ars was one of the greatest saints to ever walk. He literally "cured" the city of Ars, France from its anti-Christian ways. He would sit in the Confessional for 16 hours a day as people from all over Europe would come to have him hear their Confessions. He is now revered as the patron of parish priests. He is also the patron of my seminary. He is none other than St. John Vianney.
Livin_the_MASS
Thats what I thought, but I didn't know for sure? I thought he was the one who heard alot of confessions, to the point of lack of food and his own health. Thats how much he did penance and heard confessions. Katholikos
"Curé" is French for parish priest - "The priest of Ars." Leaves one speechless -- the logic is so well expressed. Persuasive. Whammy.
