thessalonian
She's been struggling with her Catholicism lately. She is a convert and rude, crabby Catholics really get her down. She says if it wasn't for the Eucharist she would go back to being Protestant.

Technicoid
I can commisserate. I've run into a few very uncharitable Catholics, and it can be disheartening. I finally just had to accept that people are fallible (big news, huh?) and that my trust needs to be in Christ and in the Church rather than imperfect people. journeyman
prayers for her (and get her a PM account - it's against the rules for us to be uncharitable! )
Iacobus
I know that some really rude nasty disable people drove my aunt and uncle out of the Church. They just got sick of the closed mindedness of a lot of people. You know the type, those who are homophobic in the name of being anti-sin. Why can't we just all read the full paragraph? I know it almost happened to me about a year ago, I shall be praying for her.
