Extra ecclesiam nulla salus
lol! I'm not really in to wearing bracelets but I can see why people would want one. I hate the way people buy them simply because they are 'fashionable'...it's almost as bad as those who wear rosarys as a necklace-they make me angry
my favorite Irishman (excpet of course Gerry Adams) Bono Wears a Rosary (in fact he wears two!!!) U2 is awesome!

Luthien
I looked at it real quick and thought it was a "WMD bracelet..." Weapons of Mass Destruction....
iggy
So it would be better if maybe it said WWMD on one side and WWJD on the other?
I think it would be cooler if you made a whole line of bracelets. Like... "Our Lady of Guadalupe pray for us," and such. Or "St. Thomas Aquinas pray for us." And they could be in different colors. Or you could have designs like St. Jehanne d'Arc's banner "Iesu Maria" and you could have little crosses so it could be "+Iesu+Maria+" or something. I think a line of Saint bracelets would be really cool cuz it would be an alternative to saint medals but you could still get them blessed. Though I must admit, using only text and no pictures borrows heavily from Islam Edit: Hmmmm...now I have an idea to make money...saint bracelets... cathgirl
I'm not sure if I would, but I would def get one with MPFM (Mary, Pray For Me) I think I'd rather have one that was more original that WWMD. That's just me though. Besides, I agree with the person who said that she prob. wouldn't wear a bracelet about herself. I could see her with one w/ WWJD on it though.
See for me, I understand that it comes from the whole WWJD thing, but I say we should really enjoy our catholic traditions. We have no problem with asking saints to pray for us, and we love it when the Virgin Mary does so. I totally agree with you, cathgirl, let's make it explicit. Aloysius
WWMD could also stand for "Where are the Weapons of Mass Destruction?" uh oh spagghetio!

thessalonian
If anyone asks I will tell them that what she would do is to tell me "do whatever HE asks you to do.".
zealousrap
I don't think things like WWJD are very effective in witnessing. I think it would be better recieved if we just DO what Jesus would want us to do...in a way that paints a portrait of the face of Christ through our actions rather than a bracelet or t-shirt...don't get me wrong, wear religious t-shirts proudly, but we can't let that be the only indication of our faith. As for WWMD, I think it kind of sounds like we are looking for her direction in saying that, and she doesn't want that kind of attention. She exists only to bring us closer to Christ (<the WAY, truth and the life) and only he can be the lamp unto our feet.
