I made my first steps into crossing the tiber - from Anglo Catholic to Roman Catholic! :D:D:D

I found this really nice friendly Roman Catholic Church, the parish priest was really understanding of my situation and said that I didn't really need to do the RCIA course because of the tradition of my Anglo Catholic Church and it's teachings were so similar to the Roman Catholic Teachings therefore it would be patronising if I went through learning everything I did before. So instead, he will give me a short instruction and I will be recieved into the Roman Catholic Church in September/October time! (Don't worry, he assured me that it would all be done properly as I had already come from a Christian Communion and there is a Canon law or something that I come under)

I would describe my new church as a medium sized charismatic catholic parish with high church (Traditional) leanings, they use incense at mass, the priest wears a mixture between Gothic and Fiddleback chasubles and there are a good set of altar servers. It's a modern building with the same amount of inspiration as a community center but the people are really friendly and it's in the Holy Roman Catholic Communion!

Another one comes Home.

Congratulations. Remember to ask Mary to help you through the change, it's a big leap spiritually (if not doctrinally).

God bless,
Mikey
Congrats Welcome Home!!!
You know - that is the perfect phrase, it feels like I'm coming "Home", I felt so comfortable at this church, theologically I knew I was amongst people with similar beliefs to me (as I know my beliefs are more RC than Anglican)

Thank you all :D
