the_rev
Phatmassers, I had a job itnerview today at the local pizzaria. He is going to tell me tomorrow for sure if I got the job, but he said he had to look at the schedule to see if he can work around my schedule for June, he was pretty sure he could though. I'd be making pizzas for a living, and possible bussing tables once in a while. Peace of Christ, Eddie Lee Thanks for your prayers!

[/quote] your comment intruiged me to do some research..... this site shows the minimum wage for all the states in the US most states are equal to the federal minimum wage which is $5.15 ohio and kansas have the lowest minimum wage maine, vermont, new york, connecticut, rhode island, massachusetts, delaware, illinois, hawaii, alaska, california, washington, and oregon have the highest minimum wages....some of which are upwards of $7 interesting

the_rev
That is craziness! We are trying to get minimum wage highered to 6.50 but I am not an advocate of it. Because in WI, if you raise the wage, it will be bad for our already struggling economy. That means that youth wouldn't get the jobs, because theydon't want to pay youth that much. Then the money you take in, is in turn going to be used to pay for the inflation of raising all the prices for the stores to cover the minimum wage. My two cents worth.
