geetarplayer
My friend had an experience with a very well-rehearsed Jehova's Witness. She asked him what he thinks happens after death, and he said, "We go to heaven." She said, "Hmm. Let's see what the Bible says." She took out her Bible and said, "Well that's funny. It says here that all the dead will be raised!" Then she made a nice speech about how you, too, can be raised after you die. He then very politely told her that she was Catholic. She gave him a copy of the Watch Tower and left. -Mark
Jaime
Here's the thing that I never got about the JWs They fervently believe that only 144,000 people will go to heaven (literal scriptural interpretation. Also there may be fire codes to deal with) Logically they believe that all 144,000 are going to be JWs. So here's the question Why try to get more converts? Honestly, if I were a JW, I would be going to meetings and trying to talk folks out of it so I would have a better shot at getting in. "You know the Methodists have doughnuts" That kind of thing. Also I have secretly hoped that Prince would stop by and try to convert me.
