Indeed. Texas would defeat all of western europe quite handily. There's just a certain spirit about Texas. Besides, if attacked, Texas would have a reserve of millions of professional soldiers. It is common knowledge that every Texan owns at least one assault rifle and trains with it religiously.
Well not everyone but we don't like to talk about those others!

No seriously, Texas is probably one of the most heavly armed areas of the world and on the whole we know how to use those arms.
Well I suppose that was just an unarmed idiot rather than a trained soldier but I see your point. Something to bear in mind is that during the Persian Gulf War the first British brigade in the region was paired with the US Marines and were planning to work as one force. They were re-deployed when we added more forces and the Marines were pretty disappoined they had to move (as it turns out US marines and Brit Army forces at the time had alternating weaknesses).
Well the British did make a bayonet charge in Basra after running out of ammo, they went house to house and cleared a path out of the firefight, that was the first bayonet Charge in some time, that impressed me.
Texans need to have a 'reality check'
riiiight! Contrary to what you may think we understand reality just fine, I'd wager there are more troops in Iraq from Texas than any other political entity in the world excepting Iraq itself.
yes, we were, i don't see a problem with the increasing of effeteness of Europe
No you probably would not.

And as for Irish not liking Americans, well, that's a shame. We like Ireland well enough.

But none of this has to do with the Crusades. So, gentlemen, if you will, back to the topic at hand please.

Well there isn't really seem to be a discussion on the Crusades, apparantly the " they was Justified" crowd wins.
