Jaime
Don't you mean cream of mushroom soup?
let_go_let_God
Most that I've had are tomato soup based but cream of mushroom comes in a close second especally when served with mock chicken legs. homeschoolmom
Soup is definately a staple ingrediant in hotdish. To make hotdish take one from each of the following catergories and mix: A mushroom soup cheddar coagulated milk soup tomato soup celery soup B tuna hamburger chopped chicken C chow mein noodles macaroni egg noodles D tator tots French onions dry onion soup mix croutons Throw in a can of veggies of your choice, top with plenty of coagulated milk slices. And hot stuff, I still do the refusal of food thing.....no one understands why I do it here in Michigan.

MissScripture
There are a couple of other things that all good Minnesotans do: You also have to say you'd better get going at least twice before you actually leave. And then, if you're leaving close friends or family, when you drive away you have to honk the horn. And don't forget to say hi to people you pass on the street, but have never seen before. And smile and wave to random passing motorists. P.S. Jell-o with fruit in it doubles as a salad and a dessert!! But if it has whipped cream it is definitely a dessert. homeschoolmom
Don't people in other parts of the country say "hi" to strangers that they pass on the street? It's just plain rude no to! When RussianGirl first came, she was really confused... She thought I knew everyone!
jiyoung
i guess we californians are just uncharitable... lol. i think that refusal of things is a korean thing too. and then also fighting for the bill.
Catholictothecore
do you know how stereotypically-correct this thread is making you all to look like? I'm frightened, big time!! So, what do you call eleven men all sitting home watching the Superbowl? The Minnesota Vikings!
