picchick
I am sorry to disrupt the table but I am going into my class at 3. We are going to discuss St. Matthew's Gospel. The problem? My teacher is agnostic and believes that the bible is just a story book deal and that the characters aren't real. I know my stuff. I just don't know if I can defend all the things that I am anticipating that he'll say. My question I guess is this and it is up for debate. If he bashes the life of Christ and does not let up do I leave? Meg EDIT: Sorry I forgot to add. I go to a Catholic University. And this guy has done this before. jezic
how can there be an agnostic teacher at a catholic university? That doesn't make sense. If you feel you are being attacked you should leave. File a complaint of religious discrimination. That is what i would do i guess. (though it seems backwards. the professor should be required to be Catholic but i will tackle education some other time)
Archangel
If it doesn't adversely affect your educational requirements, I'd leave. You should also bring it to the attention of the administration.
