I am doing my confirmation project on the Church's Future.

I am entitling it, Will the Vatican Conform to the Wants of the American Catholic Church: A Research into Married and Women Priests

I'd like to get this done quickly, so I can educate myself on this topic.

Basically I was wondering if the Phamily could point out encyclicals, etc. from the Church that I may use, and maybe even pinpoint soemthing I should use."

It most likely will be sent to the bishop, as I may be entering college seminary after graduation. So this would be like my "I hope you like me" paper!

Hehehe.

Any ideas?


I will resource the other thread I started about my parish priest for reference on women priests, I guess I'm looking for help on Married priests, etc.

If you want to see the arguments for women's ordination, you may have to visit some of the websites from groups espousing such an expansion. You probably should do that anyway, since you'll want to know what arguments your references to the encyclicals are intended to counter.

Now if you wanted to explore the change solely at the lower levels - like the diaconate - you might want to check out
