ironmonk
There are far too many abuses of the Eucharist. They are unacceptable. When I see and hear of them... I can't help imagine what Christ must be saying... "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." We need to teach those that abuse the Eucharist. Monkenstein
Yea IronMonk I totally agree with you.... The Eucharist is to precious, and to important to our Catholic faith to let anybody abuse... There are certain things I can tolerate when it comes to my Catholic faith, usually by the other person's ignorance....but in this case ignorant or not...you just don't mess with the most Holy Eucharist, Jesus Christ, True God and True Man... But unless you have the direct oppurtinity to teach and influence those who abuse the Eucharist all you can do is pray, which is a powerful in itself.... Katholikos
$8.95 from Queenship publishing: A Cancer in the Church, Paul Mihalik Did you know that studies indicate that over 70% of Catholics do not believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist? Is this threat to the church in part do to the lack of devotion to and respect for the Real Presence? This book explores the differences between Rome and the dioceses. The book further makes suggestions on how we the people in the pews can show a greater respect to Jesus in the Real Presence and help to secure it. You'll want copies to give to your friends as a loyal evangelizer. The cover of this book depicts the fading of obedience to Rome.
