amy
Hello all- So... there is a priest here at my school who has some umm... we'll call them questionable practices during mass. For example- He doesn't take the Eucharist before everyone else, he and the Eucharistic Ministers distribute and then he gives them the Eucharist, and then has them give it to him. There is a lot of other stuff too, but thats just an example. I really don't feel he is giving Jesus proper reverance but when my friend asked him about it, he just got really angry about it... what to do? Thanks, Amy

Secondly, you have the right to ask the priest about his practice.
Any Catholic, whether Priest or Deacon or lay member of Christ’s faithful, has the right to lodge a complaint regarding a liturgical abuse to the diocesan Bishop or the competent Ordinary equivalent to him in law, or to the Apostolic See on account of the primacy of the Roman Pontiff. It is fitting, however, insofar as possible, that the report or complaint be submitted first to the diocesan Bishop. This is naturally to be done in truth and charity. (Redemptionis Sacramentum no.184)
This is from Redemptionis Sacramentum. Talk to your priest first, if he is not receptive, then you may go to the bishop. That is my counsel. Cam
