jmjtina
Keil, I registered. That whole thread is ridicoulous. (I'll be nice, don't worry.) But honestly, Law did something terrible. He made a grave mistake in shuffling those priests, but what do they want? A lynching? Peter denied Christ, Paul persecuted Christ, aren't we all guilty? And on top of all of that, they have the nerve to say, "What kind of leadership is that from the Pope?" The crucifix is the best example of what Christ did for our sins. Presiding over Mass or being a lector at one of the novena Masses for the Pope probably makes anyone "high profile" since it's all being captured on T.V, newspaper, etc. Let's say the Pope did make a mistake. Obviously, Law did. Either way you slice it, the Holy Spirit leads the Church, not man. My trust is in God and the Church Christ established almost 2,000 years ago which he promised that the gates of Hell would never prevail. I think Hell has been working overtime.....through the biased media.

I finally just went and emailed the moderator...and was like "whats the deal...I have been trying for a year" and then he finally let me in. Timothy
This is just my simple opinion, so please take it for what it is worth. You can add it to the thread or not whichever you think is the wiser. I think what has been forgotten in your combatants' post in light of Christ is how He deals with sinner. Christ does not fire a sinner, He does not demote a sinner, but He does eat with them at the same dinner table. Did he or did he not eat with Judas at the Last Super? Christ knew Judas was to sin against Him, but yet he is welcome at His table. When He eats with sinners He shows us to loves them. It is as if He constantly has His arms wide-open waiting for us to run to Him every time we fall down. We are called to love all regardless of their impurities and the impurities they have committed. Yes, it is true the actions of the Cardinal have led many away from The Church, but in hard times, these people should stand up to the tribulations of evil. So, let me ask you this. In much harder times that we may face, will these people not leave again? It is not of Christ to reject someone whom truly repents, nor is it of us. We cannot fight evil with evil (rejecting somebody because of a fault/mistake regardless of the sin). For if we do then evil wins, and we did not fight the good fight. We are told by Christ to fight evil with love and compassion. For if we are to get slapped, we are to turn the other check for them to slap. I stand fully behind the Church’s actions, because I think we are displaying to the world how to deal with sinners. Which is not to reject them and throw them out on the street, but to comfort and love them, as I believe this is what we are called to do.
