Livin_the_MASS
Everyone is born to be Catholic. Some just choose to deny this! You are saved or damed You are in grace or in sin You are a Catholic or not No other religon has the whole truth Know that all is grace from God no good comes from us "Who is good but God alone." Ask for grace and understanding than you will understand that you are Catholic or nothing else. Pax Jason PS play nice on this debate
Fidei Defensor
You could also say that everyone is atheist when they are born. But this is not a fair argument because when we are children, we reason as children, and are not to concerned about our salvation.

Livin_the_MASS
What's the debate? How can you say Everyone is Catholic.... and then say some people aren't Catholic?
There is a debate, because it is there own choice not to be Catholic when given the information about the Catholic Church. My debate is, those who say we are wrong use their free will to do so. Even though every soul is made to be one with God and each other. We are born to the serve and search for God and to love him. During that search one comes across the Truth, but does not agree or does not like something about it, is rejecting the Truth. Even though that person was born to be Catholic. Don't forget the word Catholic means Universal. Better?
God Conquers
Better? blink.gif
Not really.... Are you asking whether people agree or disagree with this? You've just made an assertion and not left much room for debate.

Catholic's are One with the Church and God. So if the word "Catholic" in itself means universal and you are not "Catholic", how can you be of something else that is different in faith, yet say you are one with God and the Catholic Church? Yet you are born to be Catholic! So why deny what you are born to become? God Bless Jason

If you are on phatmass, the One Truth has been given witness to you! If you reject it, than there is an account that must be given to God.... yes...no? I say Yes, why because you have been told the Truth, are you Peter whom asked forgivness and came back to Christ after he denied Him? Or Judas who never came back and fell into dispair and darkness after he betrayed God? Both betrayed, one came back, the other did not believe and feel into dispair!
not really but almost. You do have a free will. Just because you are destined to be something, doesn't mean you will do it. We are all made to be One with Him in heaven.
