DemonSlayer
He'd be an ideal Pope if one that probably won't serve as long as PJP2 is needed.
Ash Wednesday
He sure is a smart man from what I'm listening to about his discussions regarding the mass. His description of "banalized music" is right on. "They(youth) are not really satisfied with banalized music! People think if they did some banalized music, they'd attract the youth...not really!" "If the youth want to dance, they know where to go! But not the mass!"
argent_paladin
What? When I want to dance, I think, "Should I go to a club or should I go to a church and see if they are having an evening mass. I really feel like dancing to some acoustic guitar and music written by Haugen, Haas or Hurd."
God Conquers
I love how he very distinctly draws the line on dancing in NA. A priest I know saw HIM dancing up the aisle at an African mass! Well.... not full out dancing.... but you know, dancing befitting a Prince of the Church. Kinda like JPII's skiing!
conservativecatholic
Does anyone remember that All in the Family episode where Archie was arguing with Henry Jefferson and said "God is not ready for a black president. He has to try it out and make a black Pope first." That day may be close.....
I love to watch reruns of All in the Family!

jrndveritatis
Here is an excellent page with tons of speeches by, books by, and articles about Cardinal Arinze: Arinze Links Ironically it is on the Ratzinger Fan Club webpage. Oh well, either would make I think a great pope, although I hope Arinze is selected.
rufiokicks
Oh my goodness I hope Arinze. All my friends at school, Catholics and non-Catholics alike think he would be a great pope. I think I'll leave that decision up to the Holy Spirit though.
