Fidei!

Keep the Faith! I have no doubt that our Lolek is looking out for you. Remember there will be dark times, but there is only Light and Love at the end.

Do as Corban suggests, rest your head on the heart of Christ. Just rest, be, love. Don't doubt or fear, hand it all over.

You remain in my prayers, always.

FD,

Don't despair when the devil tempts you; he tempted Jesus as well, so you are in good company. Hang in there!

I'll have to remember this prayer!
I cannot get my faith back.

I should be an atheist.

I have tried and tried and i cant.

The man that could have helped me is dead.

I give up.
Those who are in Chist are never dead, they have simply changed citizenship; from being on Earth to being in Heaven.

Speak to him, he can hear you.

Woah, Woah, Woah, Back it up!! there is no way you can say that!! the only way to be athiest is if you hate the god who loves you beyond all reason!! and obviously you don't because you wrote this! Your not a hopeless cause, because i've seen em and you or love for the is strong as is your love for christ, i've never met you but i belive that! If oyu have been trying as you said you have that is enough, you are the best you and you can be nothing more! Don't try to be prefect and always be at peace with god and never upset at him, he dosen't want that. If he did he would of made you an angel, and your not! LOve God and your nieghbor and try to be happy w/ yourself. Beating youself up is nothing but painful, we all fall it is expected, try each to fall less hard and get up faster! God dosen't want one more Athiest son, Satan does. All that man on the cross wants is love and pevsaverance, never does he ask pefection, never.

Sometimes is harder becaus egod choose to prurify us. Here is a story you should like:

Once there was a goldsmith and he had seen lot of types of gold come his way. Some became rings, others sword hilts. One Day he picked one and knew this was the piece he had been looking for to make his wonderful plan
So he took and said, bit of Gold I will make what you are ment to be, it will hurt but you must try to trust me. The Gold said ok. The goldsmith said, "first i must put in a hot fire to burn off your impurities!, it be a while and will hurt but ignore the flames and look at my face." the gold replied. "how lng must i be in there?"
the Man said, "until i see my image in you! Then i will hammer and pound and mold you, that will hurt to but once angain just look at me." The gold answered"for how long master??" and he replied, until I see you are you with me shining out, then you'll be complete. The gold said yes and was made into a crusifix.
THE Goldsmith is God, andYOU are the gold, let him work you he has his reasons!

Your in my heart and prayers,

I have a sense that God wants me to give these words of John Paul to you:
Is it possible to dismiss Christ and everything which he brought into the annals of the human being? Of course it is possible. The human being is free. The human being can say to God, "No." The human being can say to Christ, "No." But the critical question is: Should he? And in the name of what "should" he? With what argument, what reasoning, what value held by the will or the heart does one bring oneself, one's loved ones, one's countrymen and nation to reject, to say "no" to Him with whom we have all lived for one thousand years? He who formed the basis of our identity and has Himself remained its basis ever since. . . .

As a bishop does in the sacrament of Confirmation so do I today extend my hands in that apostolic gesture over all who are gathered here today, my compatriots. And so I speak for Christ himself: "Receive the Holy Spirit!"

I speak too for St. Paul: "Do not quench the Spirit!"

I speak again for St. Paul: "Do not grieve the Spirit of God!"

You must be strong, my brothers and sisters! You must be strong with the strength that faith gives! You must be strong with the strength of faith! You must be faithful! You need this strength today more than any other period of our history. . . .
You must be strong with love, which is stronger than death. . . . When we are strong with the Spirit of God, we are also strong with the faith of man. . . . There is therefore no need to fear. . . . So . . . I beg you: Never lose your trust, do not be defeated, do not be discouraged. . . . Always seek spiritual power from Him from whom countless generations of our fathers and mothers have found it. Never detach yourselves from Him. Never lose your spiritual freedom.
Sorry sir, no can do.

Jesus chose you and um you sort of have to live with it. :) That will never change.

Just because he died doesn't mean he can't help you.

Being an atheist now is not advisable, we are to close.

You are right that you can't get it back, the more you struggle, the more you will fall. to get it back you need to give it away. :D Give it to God. (that might not seem possilble but try it. Until you stop trying to drive, Jesus can't show you the way.)

Talk to me

honey, one thing i know is that God delights in you. every time you come before Him in prayer and worship He tingles all over in explicit joy that you are acknowledging His existence. so many people just ignore GOd or hate His precious name, but you love Him. I know it. You know, love is beyond just feeling, isnt it? I know you know that. Just because you dont feel like you got faith or love GOd you still do! Dont let satan steal that from you! You are passionate after GOd's own heart. Use this trial to come to HIm in deeper worship crying out to HIm "i need you Jesus! i need you! I want you, I must be in your presence!" God loves you, He really does. Just let it go.

St. Alphonsus Ligouri, unable to discern the state of your own soul, while at the same time directing many souls and performing miracles, pray for us!
____________________________________________________

"Scruples" comes from the Latin word pebble. The soul thus afflicted turns a pebble into a mountain. Such souls are incapable of forming a right judgement on the state of their soul. When severly afflicted, almost everything that soul does, thinks, intends, or fails to do, think or intend seems as grevious sin.

From my understanding scruples can be:

-Allowed by God for the humility of that soul.
-False Pride: that is, vain fears; they are vain because the afflicted cannot take the focus off himself and his (so-called) sin.
-Temporary or permanent; waxing or waning in intensity.

The helps:

HE MUST BE JUDGED SCRUPULOUS BY A LEARNED CONFESSOR OR SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR; IF HE IS, THE FOLLOWING WILL MOST LIKELY APPLY, AT LEAST WHILE THE AFFLICTION IS INTENSE:

A learned confessor, who can discern the reality of the afflicted's imagined offenses is a must.

Obedience to the learned's counsel!

The scrupulous soul must be aware his mind/judgement re: himself is sick. He is in need of asking the Divine Physician to recover him to health.

He should never refrain from Holy Communion unless certain - that is, he can swear with right hand on the Holy Bible, and the other holding the crucifix - that he has mortally sinned.

Such a soul should be very careful about what he reads. He may NOT be able to endure treatises (for example) on hell, nor reading about even common practices of mortification.

He should NOT do an examine of conscience. It is poison for the scrupulous soul.

He should NOT make a general confession.

He should assume all of his confessions to be valid, unless his spiritual director/confessor has judged otherwise.

He should seek above all peace of soul, and strive to maintain this, no matter what violence it seems to do to his nature.

He will overcome much by being blindly obedient to the good counsel of his learned director/confessor.

O scrupulous soul, you are not "terminally unique"!
