There is no doubt in my mind that Pope John Paul is watching over you right this moment.

Have a good night and don't forget that. ;)

I cant take it any more.

I try. I really do.
But all i get in response to my prayers are blast after blast of doubt and skepticism.

No one around me other than here is any kind of help.

Papa died. And I never got to see him which makes me sad, and it makes him not feel real to me.

I never saw him either!

But I know he still loves me. And he loves you too

Remember, its not God who moves away from us, we move away from God. He is always there, we have the choice to either shrink away, or embrace Him.

I have problems with doubt. it just wont leave me alone. Every single thing i read or do turns into a dagger of doubt to me. i have no peace in my soul. i cant take it. every little thing, prayers.. church, it all makes me doubt

I cant go to school without falling into that trap.
I cant come here without it.

Everything, and im not exaggerating, EVERTHING makes me doubt the existence of God.
And this pain makes me want to die.

We all go through those periods of doubt and feeling totally alone. Just hang in there. I would really suggest turning to the rosary now. Meditate on the Sorrowful Mysteries. Be there with Jesus as He feels all alone in the Garden. Watch His Face, search His tear-stained eyes. Walk with Him along the Way of the Cross. Stand by His sorrowful Mother at the foot of the Cross. Watch Him as He stares into your eyes and know that He would rather die than to lose you. Watch Him breathe His last.

All i do is fail!

Im worthless.
That's bull----!

Snap out of it!

Every man, every Pope dies (not everyman really lives! ;-))
Yes, his death is sad, but that's no reason for despair.

Start acting like a Fidei Defensor again!

Moses and Abraham both, at times, thought that they were crazy for believing anything and wanted to quit. And look at their place in God's plan. Everyone experiences draughts in faith. Don't sweat it.

Some of the happiest times in my life have been when I told God, "this situation stinks, please cheer me up." God loves you. I'm not sure he "likes" any one, because he is not deceived by our facades, as we are with one another. But he wants you to be happy.

He won't hand you a stone if you ask him for a fish. He won't give you despair if you ask him for happiness.

Just a suggestion though, sometime when we ask God to increase our faith, or to increase our patience, he answers by challenging the faith we already have. Sometimes it's good to tell him, "Lord, you know how I need to mature and what I need to go to heaven. I place that in your hands, but please, cheer me up."

Im worthless.
:wavey: Hi Worthless my name is James.

SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND

1I must boast; there is nothing to be gained by it, but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. 3 And I know that this man was caught up into Paradise--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows-- 4* and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter. 5 On behalf of this man I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses. 6 Though if I wish to boast, I shall not be a fool, for I shall be speaking the truth. But I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me. 7* And to keep me from being too elated by the abundance of revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to harass me, to keep me from being too elated. 8 Three times I besought the Lord about this, that it should leave me; 9 but he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10* For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

You may indeed smell of elderberries. But admitting it is the first step in allowing Christ to transform you.

And John Paul the Great is not dead, now he more powerful and more personal then you could every imagine.

(You can even talk to him when you are on the toliet.)

Well, I hope my insensitive humor has helped you, you are in my prayers.

Ash Wednesday

I sense scruples and maybe depression is at play. The pope can do MORE for you in heaven than he could on earth because he is outside of time and space as we know it. In heaven they are in eternity and their souls are absolutely pure. Just think of what their prayers would be like!

Stay with God. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Think of those doubts as being like comments and criticism from a parent or teacher or coach . . . It may not look like love, but they wouldn't invest the time and effort in trying to work some improvement if they didn't see something worth while in the first place . . . Be open to where you should be going, these may be the workings of the Holy Spirit trying to prod you in a new direction or to a place you don't think you want to be, or at least haven't admitted to yourself yet that it might be where you need to be

i will be keeping you in my prayers. try once again, to sit quietly with Jesus. follow the beautiful example of St. John, the Beloved Disciple...rest your head upon His Most Sacred Heart, beating with love for YOU....allow the gentle rythm of His Heart calm your fears and allow you to trust Him. I don't think your struggles right now are just that the Pope died...there is something else going on here. whatever that may be...simply and humbly bring it to the Lord and tell Him about it. He loves when you come to Him and just talk to Him as you would your best friend, for that is what He is and longs to be! Lastly, go to Mary!! She is the most loving and gentle of mothers and loves to take care of her children. Just through yourself into her arms and allow her to carry you wherever she sees best to take you, trusting that she will always take care of you. she will!

remember that when you sin, this makes Jesus want to give Himself even more for you. Jesus told St. Faustina that it is our sins and faults which attract His Mercy to us! Give Jesus the JOY of being YOUR SAVIOR!! hand Him these faults and sins with great trust in His goodness! then, DO NOT WORRY for He is taking care of everything.

Don't know if this will help, but I went through something like that for a brief period. I realized, though, that it had to be spiritual warfare against me. You see, no matter which lie I followed before becoming Christian it was never thus assaulted, and I was rather content to think that I knew everything worth knowing. Now that I really do know everything worth knowing (that being Jesus) I guess I can't expect Satan to take it sitting down. Keep your eyes fixed on the face of Christ. The Enemy will have no power over you then. All things, even this, work together for the good of those who love God.
