I strongly disagree... i was at the heartbreak of a lifetime... that loss to the Angels in Game 1 of the ALCS... it's a heartbreak when you pay $350 to watch a team lose Like I stated back in April... we'll win the World Series
Zoecool13
Zoe While I will agree with you that it can be theologically proven that God loves baseball more than any other sport, you are off on your belief about the Lord's preference for the Sox. Twins baby. Peter Gammonds even predicted it
Just a reminder that you've been incorrect in this thread before... but smile, Jesus still loves you! You know what I'm talking aboutl Even two games up, I know there are Sox fans that are worried. But that's one of the things that makes baseball the greatest sport in the world. Personally, I think all of you that said the White Sox weren't going to do anything this season, and Astros fans should be the ones worried right now. I'll give you Game 3, with Oswalt pitching (although, i think we've faced just as good if not better pitchers already this postseason... including tonight's Petitte) but game 4 should be an easy victory for the Sox and then who will the Astros put in Game 5? It's supposed to be Clemens... but he's probably gone... Petitte again? we've just proven we can handle him... but lets say we do lose 2 of those games, and the series goes back to Chicago... game 6 is back with Oswalt, and then again a nobody for game 7... I'm not worried about a thing, because the cards are in our favor.

philothea
When the Bulls first won the championship, a friend of the family's car got flipped over by drunken rioters. I probably picked a bad week to be in Chicago. (Not that I don't like the White Sox, but dang.)

The only reason Cubs fans would be considered dangerous is because of all the bars in Wrigleyville that many get drunk at.
