What do you want me to do on that piece of carp board? Post something?

Look, if you need to believe that I'm someone you know, go ahead. That's your problem. But I'm not jumping through any hoops to prove anything. My name is Nathan Tyler, I'm 23, I live in Toronto, Ontario. That's all you get.
I will give you one thing...your internet service is based out of Toronto.

Good Friday's IP was much different.

I only wonder if GF didn't move...

However, I will presume you innocent of anything until I have proof.

Oh, and that's not a piece of carp board. :)

It is not just Fox News, but all the news outlets getting it wrong.

Firstly, Pope John Paul II NEVER apologized, but stated Christians and all need to repent and pray for what happened with the holocaust.

Secondly, had he apologized that would have undermined the INFALLIBILTY of all Pope's who came before him.

For the most part, devout Roman Catholics get some things confused, but nothing like the press to treat this like a political party who has lost its leader.

GOD BLESS POPE JOHN PAUL II.
GOD BLESS THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.

It's interesting to me that you would get that from the post of mine you quoted. Was it my calling Rafael's extremely Protestant-sounding Catholic messageboard a "piece of cr*p"?

Well, actually...it's not my message board...it belongs to the man to whom you are typing.

Have a nice day. :D

Oh, and it's hardly Protestant-sounding...it's based out of Steubenville...

I was impressed on of their anchors said, that the Catholic Church had a 2000 year history. I was thinking what will the protestants say!

Flyfree Ministries? C'mon... as organization handles go, that sounds pretty darned Protestant.

Well, I'm afraid you must have fallen victim to some stereotypes.

Ministries is not a Protestant word. It may be more frequently used by Protestants, but I assure you, the sight is 100% orthodox Catholic and anyone who spends a few moments there would be able to see it...what, given the "Mass Reflections" forum and the temporary "Papal News" forum...

(giggling)

Now, Raphael, I have to admit: as a former Protestant, if I didn't know better, the name "Flyfree Ministries" would DEFINITELY sound Protestant to me! :rolling:

And I know Bro. Adam could give the definitive word--wasn't he Protestant when it started? LOL!

(Not that he's Protestant now--we've both seen the light--and I haven't even been on that board in ages, so I'm sure that a quick read-through would give one accurate info on its orientation, so to speak...if, as you say, "Mass Reflections" and "Papal News" weren't clue enough. Heh heh.)

(still giggling over Protestant v. Catholic cultural differences...like the time I walked into our parish "town hall" meeting and there was a table of food, a table of punch and coffee, and a table of wine, beer, and wine-cooler-type-things. I stopped and stared and actually said to myself, "Oh yes, I'm Catholic now." I told my priest about that after the meeting and he roared.)

Edited: I just realized that cradle Catholics might not get why that was funny. HA! The idea of alcohol at any church function is TOTALLY UNHEARD OF in many (not all) Protestant denominations. Most of us wouldn't have been seen drinking, even if we didn't believe it was "wrong"--because other people think it's wrong. Definitely an American Protestant culture thing. So to see a table of booze at a church meeting was too, too funny.

Debate to find truth is not uncharitable. Name-calling is.
