Thy Geekdom Come
"John Paul is remembered for removing the Catholic Church teaching which said that Jews should be punished for crucifying Christ." Because he apologized for the abuses of some Catholics does NOT mean that the Church officially taught it...
conservativecatholic
"John Paul is remembered for removing the Church teaching which said that Jews should be punished for crucifying Christ."
I remember hearing that last night. -_- Fox, you can do better than that! Fox has done a great job covering the Pope and his condition. Prior to the announcement of John Paul's "immenent death," Fox News had already shown an awesome documenatry on John Paul II. I love Fox!
theculturewarrior
I've been picking up a lot of silly slips. Last night they said, "Suffering is part of the Catholic religion." LOL! Non-Catholics don't suffer?
Or when Mass was being held today at the National Basilica... a Fox News anchor said that Cardinal McCarick was delievering his homily. Mass had only been going on for 2 minutes. The anchor later admitted that the Cardinal was only in the introductory rite of the Mass. lol Edited April 2, 2005 by conservativecatholic
EcceNovaFacioOmni
Heard that comment as well. I believe it was an outsider being interviewed by FoxNews.
Birgitta Noel
FOX was interviewing Msgr. Albacete of C & L and they said that JPII was against Feminism. Albacete immediately vehemently denied that saying that JPII was a feminist and mentioned that he was a big supporter of Feminists for Life! YAY!!!! Ash Wednesday
I think a great deal of anti-Catholic fundies, liberals (you know which kind I mean, not ALL liberals...), secular humanists and commies are probably wailing and gnashing their teeth from all this "Holy Roller Roman" coverage. Nathan
What do you want me to do on that piece of carp board? Post something? Look, if you need to believe that I'm someone you know, go ahead. That's your problem. But I'm not jumping through any hoops to prove anything. My name is Nathan Tyler, I'm 23, I live in Toronto, Ontario. That's all you get.
