Aloysius Posted March 28, 2005 Share Posted March 28, 2005 lol.. go find my post in Open Mic about Radicalism anyway, it is disrespect to basically humiliate Bishop O'Malley for attempting to follow the rubrics last year and force him into a position where he has to let women's feet be washed. And properly understood the substance of the rite should be decided by the Roman Patriarch and things like the Congregation for the Liturgy. Anyway, I went to Holy Thursday Mass at St. Ferdinand's and I was fine with the way they did it. If they were doing it in direct and purposeful opposition to Bishop Donald Wuerl, or knowingly disobeying the Vatican in doing it, then it would definitely be wrong.
