Corporate Framing: Animal Cruelty
People forget when New York City wakes up in the Morning or Tokyo and they want their ham and sasuage for breakfast the vast amount of numbers needed to produce it.
I just wanted to put an emphasis on the operative verb there: want.

I agree with you are not producing enough to meet the demands, but what demands are you meeting? The wants of those well fed, or needs of the empty bellies across the world? Just a thought...not really much to do with corporate farming except that it is meeting more of a luxury here in this country than a neccisity.

The hungery batten on spoil while the well fed hire themselves out for bread.

paphnutius i agree with you....we need to ensure those that hunger can be fed. I have no disagreement with you at all. Im just saying in and of itself its not evil to produce animals in this manner. In other words its not intrisicaly evil.
