That is what we see!! It is why the Popes have condemned liberalism many upon many times. Because they try to concilate good with evil, light with darkness and truth with error. Which ultimately an impossibility. I've heard many disturbing things personally from the lips of liberals. Many have really made themselves into super popes and hate the authority of their own church. (while at the same time still recieving communion).

Personally I have not hear anyone say that verbatim. I have heard things similiar to it. I think that those who say they are attempting to destroy religion may be true in some sense, but we have seen this since Marx and what not. As far as the who though I am at a loss. I would say those that hold power that believe in radical liberalist policies. I believe in fighting ideals and not people so I cannot actually pinpoint a few individuals, but I am sure that others will be able to supply you with some names...
