i've been playing piano since 3rd grade. when i moved my new teacher made me start all over. it really made me mad bc i was about to move onto level 4!!! and then i had to start all over <_< . my new teacher was a butt <_< ...she made me feel really stupid cuz i had no time to practice bc my new school was really tough... so this year i was planing on getting a new teacher and continuing my lessons but we're low on cash and so i was like "i don't have to take lessons i don't really wanna ne wayz..." but now that im not taking piano ne more it reeks like fish and i want to take piano again, but it's been almost ahalf year since my last piano lesson and i have'nt been practicing... im lozin my touch and gift that Christ gave me for a reason. so when you practice and finally master a song think of me and keep playin' your heart out!!!

wow this is my 11th year of piano, and my average practice time per/day over all this time is way under 10 min I'm affraid. I've had lessons all this time, so I'd think I'd be good at piano by now, but I still play only as well as I did 5 years ago I'm affraid. I know lots of people who practice consistantly and get really good, and perform at dinners and things like that. I should be there, but wow. I have learned my lesson that practice is essential.

instead of playin' a single chord try mixing and matchin' chords and see if any sound good together... it's actually pretty fun. and u should also try playin single finger chords... like insteads of playin' all your fingers being used in the chord at one time, use each finger seperatly and try to play a simple song by using each finger seperatly in that key... it's like a warm-up exersize... sry if it doesn't make ne sense to ya...

sounds like me.

The most I would play a couple weeks ago was 10 minutes....now my teacher wants me to play the minimum of 45 minutes.

I HATE THE SCALES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, but I didn't have to do them since this year. 8 years of not doing scales then all of sudden doing a lot of them... It isn't easy..

but apparently, girls are better at scales than guys are because girls are good at remembering short things...like that. Something along those lines..and I was like "oh, that's interesting.." haha

Scales........ yeah I can do a simple one octave scale easy... once I figure the key out... but two hands and four octaves.... I haven't ever gotten the hang of that. Plus, if I don't keep doing them, I forget them pretty easy.
