I didn't use the term Catholic as my religion... I used Chrsitian, which the truest meaning of Christian is Catholic.

Here is my latest:

Have you noticed that if they don't relize that your Catholic, they'll let you keep posting. Since the gaurd is down, I think this will help some be a little more open to the truth.

I'm not saying the Catholic Church is right, or wrong for that matter, I'm simply showing them that they have major misunderstandings, in hopes to kindle a blaze with their little spark of interest. They haven't been deleting all my links, so I am making progress (until one of them see this).

This latest post is to actually see what they have to say about the questions possed, not to attack them.

God Bless,
ironmonk

It says alot that they will fight among themselves over "doctrine" without any input from you.

Can you imagine a Catholic vs Catholic debate here over the doctrine of baptism, communion etc?

Man it's crazy over there.

Good job by the way. You the man Ironmonk.

I attempted to sign up.
I listed my religion as Sacramental Christian (ie: Lutheran, Episcopal, etc.).
For Home Church I said Various (I've belonged to a number of different Parishes)
For my Statement of Faith, I said I beleive Baptism is neccessary for Salvation.

I was rejected.

We should probably edit some of our posts. Baptist Board members frequently look through phatmass and information in this thread will get back to the moderators and certain individuals could lose their accounts for being Catholic.

I have to say I am surprized by the deception of Ironmonk and the reaction to it here. It didn't take much imagination to see that Sirach was Catholic. It is never a fair debate when the cards are not on the table. That said, I would love to debate Justification with you right here. I have not been around here for awhile but did enjoy it for the couple months I "hung around". I left to find what the true Catholic doctrine of "Tongues" is. I have still not been able to pinpoint what the official church position of "tongues" is. Anyway, start a new justification thread and I am there.

Iron"Sirach"monk, I think you need to go to the Baptistboard and confess who you are. That would be the right thing to do. Those of you who thought the deception was funny, shame on you. (pointing finger-he he)

Looking forward to an honest debate!!!

In Christ,
Brian

Hi Brian,

While I don't agree with the actions, I can understand the temptation.

I just consider the lock out of Catholics on the BB to be just another one of those persecutions that Scripture said we would have to endure for following the Truth.

I trust that you and your family are well.

What deception? Based on BB's policy of excluding Catholics, IronMonk listed himself as Christian. He did not argue that Catholic Doctrine was right, but only accurately portrayed it to defeat mis-information and error. His name "Sirach" also showed that he accepts the "Additional" books of the Bible.
Sirach is a Christian, does not want to defend the 'rightness' of the Catholic Church, but wants to present the accurate Church teaching. Sirach is well qualifed and able to do that. What's wrong with presenting the truth without confrontation.

Briguy,
You are warmly welcomed here to start a thread on Justification. The 'phorum guidelines' are clear and allow open and respectful dialog. You can be as brave as LittleLes and many of the other non-Catholics and non-Christians that post here to challenge and to ask questions. dUSt the webmaster is protective of who claims to be Catholic and as webmaster, he may make the call to label them with 'Hello, I do not Rep the Church'. Even so, you'll find a broad range of Catholic opinion and lot's of learned people here. Look for Church Scholars for them. Church Militant are ordinary people like me who have to look up the answer, but knows where to look. Many of us are ex-Protestants, ex-fallen away Catholics, or Protestants that aren't Fundamentalists.
