God Conquers
ok... I am a HUGE fan. I've been dying to see how they will meld the technologies from old to "new". In this trailer I saw: A Victory Class Star Destroyer A Tantive IV like ship X-WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Incredible. sweetpea316
Haha... I didn't see the trailer actually. My roommate was watching the OC though, and was like 'Oh! You have to watch this! Its like, history in the making!' But I chose to not watch it anyways.... Star Wars is pretty cool though! I never did see the last one...
Brother Adam
Lord of the Rings FOREVER! Actually I'm a Star Wars fan too, but the first two episodes were cinimatic carp. Hopefully the third is better.
Catholictothecore
Bro. Adam....(ponders how he'd manage that threat after reading the "cinematic carp" bit.) Every one of those movies has been good. They were better then the episodes 4-6, anyway.
Brother Adam
uh-huh.
Catholictothecore
wow, you agreed. huh. man, then what was the point of my saying it! No, really, 4-6 haven't impressed me in a LONG time. ESB gave me nightmares when I was twelve, though. Han has always been my fav of that set.
Carnanc
I have been a Star Wars fan in the past, and I must say episodes 4 through 6 are absolutly amazing, but honestly the first two do not come anywhere close in quality.
Amen. Poor overall quality. Very little catechatical content (4-6 are very prolife), over-use of graphics, poorly developed characters really with no point of even being in the film....the list goes on. Catholictothecore
I must disagree.
Carnanc
true. I do kind of like seeing the earlier time period
You only say that cause 4-6 don't have the computer graphics and carp the new ones do. Sadly through videogames and action movies many of the younger generation don't know a good movie if it slaps them in the face. Remember, 4-6 changed the way movies were made. They're freakin CLASSICS!!!!!
Catholictothecore
they are, and I wouldn't have liked the new ones so much if I hadn't loved the older ones first. It just that after that, everything looked like it. I mean, in Star Trek 1, the klingon battle cruisers look like they came from the Imperial archestects.
