So is man better in eschatology (when we are in heaven) or when he was in the Garden before the fall (prelapsariane )?

eschatological. Prelapsarian man (i.e. Adam and Eve) had a special relationship with God, but eschatological man shares in God's own divine life....way cooler.

As I understand it, prelapsarian man was in a state of perfect communion with God - that is, our individual wills were in accord with His Divine Will, but could not actually partake in the Divine Life of the Trinity, that is to say, prelapsarian man was not divinized. This is on account of the fact that the Incarnation had not yet happened.

Escatalogical man, on the other hand, will not only be returned to the state of perfect communion with God that was enjoyed by prelapsarian man, but also will enjoy the grace of actually being deified by partaking in the life of the Trinity.

Thus, Escatalogical man, it would seem to me, is "better"
