Matt Black
My first marriage broke up due to my wife's adultery and I divorced her for it when it was clear there was no hope of reconciliation. I have since remarried. Were I to convert to Catholicism, would this be a bar to my receiving the Eucharist? Yours in Christ Matt
Adeodatus
I assume you're not a Catholic yet since you speak about converting to Catholicism. If you are becoming a Catholic, your first marriage may be dissolved in favour of the faith, the Pauline privilege. And your marriage now may be convalidated. So, no, you would not be excluded from sharing in the sacramental life of the Church at all. Speak to your parish priest about this.
