Does this describe you?

XIX

A lot of people think i' very religious because I go to Mass every week (or more) and I pray a lot. But I think it's the opposite. I *lack* faith, so I have to do this stuff to have any chance at filling in the holes.

I go to Mass daily...and I pray because I have faith, not because I lack it.

Prayer and the Sacraments support and enrich my faith.

What is a sacrament? An outward sign instituted by Christ to bring about faith.

I think it's both...

Personally, I know that faith moves me to pray. If I had none, there'd be no point in my mind.

But I also know that I am not only capable of falling, I do fall, I fall often and I fall hard. The threat of the next temptation is often what humbles me into going.

Anyways, just a thought.

Yeah, like everyone else. Faith moves me to do those things, but you know...they pour out so many graces, graces you would never ever otherwise have o_o

Ash Wednesday

Describes me.

It's like a cyclic paradox to me. You grow in faith through humility. Humility tells you that your faith is lacking.

yeah, Ash Wednesday's right.

You can't worship the Eucharist without faith. When you say "yes, I want to believe", then you can see.

Ohh, that's like me in a lot of ways. People think I'm holy, but I'm not perfect. This makes it hard for me to be humble. Yet, doesn't the fact that I feel this way imply humility? But that's just prideful thinking!

I go in circles

I boggle my brain

yeah, i agree. but, without these things i would not have faith. I believe that I have to pray as much as i do because i need "more" grace than the average person to get through a day. I seriously have panic attacks and anxiety attacks if i do not pray each day. I pray because i am a woman of faith and because i need more faith to fight my battles
