How much more carp do I have to take?

Ash Wednesday

Your child's birth sounds like mine. My mom lost a lot of blood (she hemmoraged a lot during the pregnancy) and I almost died. I was born two months early spent a week in intensive care.

I think my dad probably almost blew his stack, at least from what my mom told me -- and my parents certainly weren't "ready" for me because I wasn't planned.

But it all turned out all right in the end.

Last year I had to wade through so much garbage in life, capped off by losing my mom, I almost turned my back on God. I was really, really close. I told this to a friend of mine and while she said "It's okay, he can handle it" I said, "but what's the point?" I guess I didn't see the point of turning my back on God, so I didn't.

Don't give up. Vent here, vent to God. Not one day at a time -- think one hour. One minute. At a time.

We have everything to gain and nothing to lose anyway. For what it's worth I'm praying for you.

Hmmm...To quote her (almost namesake) by way of reply:"Then, Lord, it's not suprising that you have so few of them".

I will pray for you and your family, just fyi.

Give everything to God, he can handle everything way better than we can, and we are NOTHING without him. I promise you. Listen to people here, they can offer some really good advice sometimes.

*prayers*

and you need a really big hug...

Good question! This guy and his family went through (or maybe they're still going through :idontknow: ) a really tough time. Good thing his "prayer squad" was with him.
