I have recently heard a horror story from a visitor somewhere in Virginia Beach or Newport News (forget where exactly) about a "Wizard of Oz" themed mass! It was unbeleiveable!
that priest is infamous.
I see him regularly - he often concelebrates daily mass at the Cathedral along with Fr Mike, and I've spoken with him on several occassions. He's an astute mind with grand ideas.
lucky. I only met him once and I was so impressed I couldn't say anything intelligible.
Glad to hear it! I really haven't followed what goes on the Richmond diocese. I was just responding to Toledo jesus' post. Our new Bishop isn't as good as the last two we've had, but their's still a lot of good priests.

Probably that TQ guy. He's this priest from out there, if memory serves, who puts on the moste apesh*t bizarre masses you've ever heard of. Rolled down the procession on a motorcycle once. A lot of people held him up as an example of what was wrong with Bishop Sullivan's leadership.

Probably didn't see slavery as the principle problem, but rather, the war itself was wholly unneccesary.

Being one of the few Catholics in an interdenominational sportbike group, I'd be interested in hearing more about this. Maybe we can channel the priest's enthusiasm into helping me with getting other bikers to "come home to Rome".

This is an interesting article. I can't read the whole thing. They have this subscription thing on there now.

I wish it was like that here though. I think we are doing all right in the Fargo diocese because of our bishop and our priests. If we had more people though it would be an awesome place.

It already is no doubt though.
