Hey thanks aloysius!!

I wish i could drive them out like Jesus drove out the money-lenders in the temple....with the very same words....would be accurate, would it not??? :D

Could it be classified as "righteous anger"????:blink:

Bravo for the guy who got up and defended Christ and His Church!!!

These people do not have the "freedom" to desecrate sacred property!!! Splashing holy water about and gesturing toward the Blessed Sacrament is sacrilegious.

The pastor must be informed, because it is vandals like this who sometimes set fires in churches, damage statues, and even (as happened just this year in my diocese) break into tabernacles and desecrate the Blessed Sacrament.

Let the pastor know what you saw.

I see no need to forgive people who are not one bit ashamed or sorry for their actions. They should be prosecuted. Then, they'd be sorry. We have laws in this country for a reason, keeping a well-ordered society, and protecting the innocent. There is nothing wrong with pressing charges against such trespassers. It's called justice.

I like the idea of Church bouncers. Once you throw some one out , you just go directly to the confession booth.

Ummmm . . . wouldn't it be more appropriate for the person who gets thrown out to go into the confession booth?

i have long had an idea of a design for a Church

i would love tomake it a reality. and maybe have the design grow to more and more places so that therez alot of churches designed like this...

im gonna draw it in bitmap.

it's just a rough kinda diagram to show the basic concept

anyway, b4 mass the priest would get ready for mass in the confessional and he would hear people's confessions on their way into mass. he would have an unlock button to let them into the main part of the church. if they say 'my last confession was yesterday' or something, if the priest believes them he can open it there too.

ppl in mortal sin can go into the prayer chapel to join in at the mass, but not communion. there is a window! yeah, it is my personal opinion that ppl should make confessions right b4 mass whenever possible, and if my church were to ever be built, ppl could choose to go there and get to go to confession right b4 mass every time they go.

ppl'll prolly hate it like they do communion rails, but i still think it's a good idea! :) B)

Sign me up!!!!

(I should give this idea to the priests at my parish, although the associate pastor looks like he could bounce a few bouncers himself)...

Hey, maybe this is where some of those "huge seminarians" from that other thread comes to play!!:lol:

Sorry, Al, looks like a baseball diamond to me...

well the main point was the fact that the only door into the main area of the church was through a confessional...

Your description kinda reminds me of the eye of the needle.

Ever heard of the explanation of this Scriptural narrative?

Jesus says it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get to heaven.

The people then worry, who can go to heaven?

Jesus explains that all things are possible with God.

According to several homilies I've heard on the subject, the city of Jerusalem is surrounded with a wall, with gates to enter the city. There is one small gate, for security purposes, where only one individual can fit through at a time. It is referred to as "the eye of the needle." It is actually possible for a camel to squeeze through this little opening, as long as all it's cargo is unloaded first.

This means, we must unload our baggage if the camel is going to fit through the eye of the needle.

So, if we must go to confession before approaching Our Lord in Holy Communion, it reminds me that we must unload our baggage (sins) before entering....

Hey, so you've got a pretty Scripturally sound architectural plan there! ;)

However, you may be able to reduce the number of seats inside, as some peeps will refuse to unload their baggage!

B) i got Anna's approval! now i just gotta call the Pope and we'll be in!

start the construction!

and u know, i'm gonna provide alot of seats just so, as the ones refusing to take off their baggage look through the window, they'll see the empty seats calling their name. maybe they'll be drawn to participate in the Holy Meal as they see the deep spiritual experiences of the holy ppl inside. that's one purpose for the window.

anyway, i really wish i had the power to get a church like this built! i think i'm gonna actually put it on a goal list of things i want to accomplish within the Church in my life.

Vera God Bless You! You must live on the edge of Hell. I have never encountered explicitly anti-catholic sacrilege except by pro-aborts and gay activists . . . none of these were near a church . . . you get anti-catholic stuff all the time! God must be preparing you to be a great Saint.

not really.

I'm just an extremely unlucky person who somehow always ends up being exposed to the little anti-catholicism there is in this city. <_<
