dUSt
I'm contemplating a new way of delivering weekly meditations, reflections, etc. There's new technology out there that allows a site such as this to create a fictitious character and have them talk and move like a real person, right on your website. My thought is that this "Fr Crunk" will be featured on the phatmass homepage, and every week he'll deliver a message for reflection. These can be taken from other writers, priests, saints, etc. I would be able to make Fr Crunk say whatever I wanted, and it would be like watching a video of him speaking. Here's what he'd look like: Question: Would anybody take about 5-10 minutes every week to watch Fr Crunk's message? toledo_jesus
Crunk? I'm not sure I'd pay much attention to somebody whose name reminds me of Lil John. But otherwise it sounds like a good idea.

Thy Geekdom Come
There's only one concern...will it be clear that it is NOT really a priest...I mean, that the words aren't, either? Otherwise, I would worry it might fall under the automatic excommunication for impersonating a priest.
musturde
How about Fr Phat?
Father Phat wouldnt be as tight as Fr. Crunk. How about Fr. Dope? Fr. Crunk wins all though.
whoa raph, don't take it too far dude . He's a cartoon figure, dUst explained that he'd just read some quotes from other people or do some devotions and use this image of a priest to do so. He's not tricking us and I dont think many of us would think that was a real priest.
