Specter
Conservative, here as well. However, Jesus was Revolutionary, and it's getting to the point where Catholics are all seen as Revolutionaries.
musturde
No, he's a Theist, not atheist Atheist: "There's no God" That doesn't make sense. If you are able to say the word "God", he must exist as a thought. If he exists as a thought, then saying "There is no God" is a contradiction to itself. Agnostic: "There may be a God but we have no definite proof of it" That makes more sense. I classify all "atheists" as agnostics. So, you're either "A theist" or an agnostic but i wont call you an atheist.
AtheistAlex
I am atheist, agnostic atheist. And I think Chesterton had it backwards, friend. If we knew there to be no God, we'd ALL be atheists. At least in my mind...heh.

AtheistAlex
hmmm if there was no God could there be a belief that there is no God, but how could we decide there is no God when...
You misunderstand atheism. It is only such a stated profession of one's lack of belief because of the idea that there is a God. If no one had a belief in any God or gods, then everyone would be a-theistic, you see? a~ = without theistic = belief in a God or gods So, to merely lack God belief is to be an atheist. Thusly, atheism is NOT, I repeat, NOT a religion, but the lack thereof.

Specter
but it does take a LOT of Faith to NOT believe in something.
