Fidei Defensor
No, not baptism, baptistism. I went to baptistboards.com and did some reading, and i began to laugh so hard, i fell off my chair.
And ever since his demise, the Devil, the great deceiver has been deceiving us by having us think we are going to heaven (where Lucifer wants to be) and that God is a TRINITY (what Lucifer was once part of). Please, think hard about this. Luke calls the Holy Spirit "the power of the Highest"
Im not even going to touch this one. The basic fact is that christianity outside of the Catholic Church is dying. Plain and simple. They are abandoning basic truths. The reason, I believe, is due to pure fact that many people are so shallow, they never enter deep thought because they are afraid they might be.. dun dun dun! Wrong. I for one am not afraid of that. I actually gain more knowledge by searching in their little brains for their ideas. Ever notice how non catholics love to use snippits of bible text? Out of context? I have also. Take this for an example - Revelation 18:4 - I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues" Now, they try to justify saying that the Catholic church is flawed by using this. But, what they fail to say is the title of this chapter - Babylon Is Fallen Revelation 18:2 - And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. Wow. Basically, you can use the Bible to prove any point, as long as you dont give all the context. I have always noticed that, and i have always laughed and looked up the full text to understand. They forget that other people also own Bibles. This what they all the things we hold dear - Mary, confession, etc. But i felt truely awed when i saw a NON CATHOLIC defend our doctrine, beating them at their own game, using their style of Bible quotes, except he provided the whole detail about it. All they had to say in reply was "thats your inturpretation" I love them silly baptists.
Brother Adam
The vast majority of Baptists do believe in the Trinity. I can't think of any mainstream Baptist confessions that deny it.
Fidei Defensor
I know, most do believe the Trinity. Im just presenting some of their "intellectual" discussion. Let me add, that many of the people there believed this persons idea. They referenced to this website as well: Clickith

MichaelFilo
Baptist, if open minded and not indoctrinated like sick puppies, especially those outside of youth groups, at an early age can be debated, and seem real sensible about things, if you take it from the bible alone. anyways, yes, most arne't like that. I don't think rejecting the Trinity and being a baptist is synonmous. If they choose to keep the name baptist means nothing. Much like the American Catholic Church. It's not Catholic. National Polish Cathlic Church. not Catholic, still has Catholic in its name..
