Look, this is me being charitable.

I'm sorry if I offended you or your husband, I was just a little irritated.
Your forgiven. See that was easy! It's not fun being mad all the time. I get irritated also but I think of the love McJust has for me and that he thinks (even when I don't) I'm the greatest and I feel good again. I'm not in this world to make friends. But love has to come in the picture sometimes and that what you should feel about yourself. I always said to McJust that I was alone not lonely because I was comfortable with my own thought. Just a suggestion.

I'm sorry and Your Forgiven. Phatmass Rocks and it's great for Teens. Some times some people just get a little out of hand, including me I have a 10% warning. I've had it for the longest.. Maybe this thread should be closed along with the "i'm done" one..Lets just leave this alone.
It's been brought up that phatmass isn't the safest place for teens because of some of the topics that get discussed here.

Question to teens: Has phatmass made you stronger in your faith? Has phatmass made you doubt your faith?

Thoughts?
It was very helpful in making me stronger in my faith, without Phatmass, I don't know where I would be.

Note: Phatmass strongly helped me convert/revert back to the Catholic faith.
You act as if phatmass is the public school system. This website teaches me better than my parents ever did.
That's not what I was implying and you know it. The fact of the matter is this: you allow minors to have accounts. You claim the site is fine for any age group. Whether or not the content is orthodox is irrelevant. It is a subject matter better dealt with by parents. In fact, the Church stongly upholds that it is the right and duty of parents to teach their kids about these matters when they decide their kids are ready for it. I'm not saying don't allow these discussions. I'm just saying that I don't think they should be in the public sphere due to their sensitive nature. How difficult would it be to set up a room like the NFP room for discussions of a more sensitive nature? (I'm honestly asking here). It's your site though. Do what you want.

For me, both weaker and stonger. The parts that have weakened elements of my faith have been less people talking about Church dotrine, but what seems to come up with a few members at times. It seems a few times that people are willing to "gloss" over elements of the faith that don't meet their adgena. This is true of the American part of the Church, as one of the cardinals said, "We are Catholic in faith, prodenstant in culture." Some members just hop over and, in a sense, sweep it under the rug when they don't agree with it.

Other parts that have weakened my faith have been times when I have just looked around, towards no one person especial, and said "Small minds." There, at times, is a lot of ignorance of things flowing down threads, which, myself being a self decleared and peer titled intellectual am upset by. This, however, tends to go in cycles.

The parts that have strengthened my faith have been less just making it more firm, but rather added to it, expanded my KB so that I was better educated about some doctrines, etc.

Just my 0.016 Euro.

I think Phat Mass is great!!

On the subject matter, I'm really kind of torn.

I kind of agree with PSPX, and I kind of agree with Dust. Hmm... Split Personality Disorder?

peace...

Would you include proper spelling and grammer usage within that which makes one a
self decleared and peer titled intellectual
.

Nope. I gave up on spelling years ago. Never really could do it, I am a math and science person, not great at spelling, I really love spell check.
I think their parents should be monitoring what they read, not dUst.
That's a rather loose argument don't you think. Should the failure of some parents to do their job justify others failing to do theirs?

I'm more or less useless without it.

This attitude sounds a bit like arrogance. Remember, that just because people disagree with you doesn't make them stupid or ignorant. I myself know many true conservative intellectuals. The attitude of liberals that holding conservative opinions is ignorant or unintellectual is rather upsetting to many of us thinking persons on the right. I'm not talking about you here, but the general prevailing attitude of many on the left.

Not trying to start a fight here, just something to think about.

OF COURSE! It's EXTREMELY dangerous! It's a known fact that 64% of all teens who use Phatmass will eventually go on to become serial killers or get involved with Mexican drug cartels! :o

No, really, there's nothing bad about Phatmass. The world is a scary and dangerous place, so any questionable material in Phatmass just helps to prepare the youth in a Catholic manner. :D
