Socrates
Being trans isn't a sin. The posts in question that brought this stuff about had to do with being trans.
It is not a sin, but it is disordered. Acting on it is. Stop attacking other people for disagreeing with you on this. The only one on here being uncharitable is you.

Acting on being trans isn't a sin either. Show me the reference of Catholic church doctrine that says it is. Oh wait, you can't because it doesn't exist. toledo_jesus
anyway, to get back on track. Aside from the occasional flame up, Phatmass is a positive site for Catholics of all ages. Again, I would suggest age-appropriate forums protected by passwords.

Thank You. Point made.
This isn't misleading! There is no catholic church doctrine on transgender people. That means there is no official church policy on whether or not acting on transgender desires is or is not a sin. A prime example of you being completely ignorant on the matter but spouting your worthless opinion anyway.

jezic
Can we end the transexual debate already. Go in another thread. Stop making every thread about that. I don't think anyone here is against anyone else. Now to the topic at hand. ABout the passwords, i don't think it should be passworded, how many people won't ask then. THere are many reasons for it, but what about the guest that walks by and sees debates that are actual issues that teens face today and it changes their life. it is not just the members that this forum is about, it is about a style of life that supports Christian Unity an authentic Church teaching. Now could we keep this about what dust started and not have this whole thing a second time. I am really getting sick of it.

So that people can be free to lie in public? So that people can be free to say the kinds of things that made me attempt suicide at age 11? Not on my watch. I'm going to make sure that nobody can read these threads and be left believing that the church actually teaches something it doesn't teach. We feel for you Spatha, and we want to help you. Your issue is one that the Church hasn't dealt with yet. All we can do is pray for you until we are taught about this by somebody with authority! Socrates
The Church regards mutilation of the human body as sinful. St. Paul lists the "effeminate" among those who shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. We've had this argument before. I realize you have a difficult condition, and I'll pray for you. But I'm going to leave this discussion as it will go nowhere. This prolonged arguing about this issue is not helping anything and was what started the problem in the first place. Some problems are best left private and not spilled all over the forum. Stop picking fights over this. Phatmass is good. Peace.
