Joseph
Oh man, they did delete both of my posts. I am surprised that they left up the post by the non-Catholic who attacked those statements.
DojoGrant
Somebody needs to get the email addresses of Matt Black and Doubting Thomas, neither of whom are Catholic but frequently stick up for us. Could be a hint of conversion stirring in their hearts. We've seen it with Adam and Neal!!!
melporcristo
Oh man, they did delete both of my posts. I am surprised that they left up the post by the non-Catholic who attacked those statements.
they really don't know how to make a good argument good if there isn't someone on the other side of the realm. Any debator or lawyer knows that in order to be a better arguer, we should have someone on the other side, opposing our view. That is the only way that we'll be moved ... AtheistAlex
Well, well. So this is the "phorum". Interesting, to say the least. I lurked for all of ten minutes, (I was shown this site from someone named Atlas1984 on bolt.com) and I liked that you guys wanted to reach out to atheists like me. Now I am here to see if you can hold up the "other end of the bargain", so to speak. That being, can you be truly open-minded and understanding? I think so, and as such, I have come to these boards as of today, Tuesday, February 8th, 2004. Keep it real, Alex
Then it was I who brought you here. I view atheists the way I view anyone else...human beings, images of God, meant for eternal life with God, and struggling along the path like the rest of us. Perhaps struggling more than others, perhaps less...it's really a case by case thing depending on state of mind and will. Again, welcome to Phatmass. AtheistAlex
Well, thank you. I myself am an agnostic atheist, only because I truly feel humans cannot explain in any empirical fashion this concept of a God, but I tend to believe one does not exist. I cannot prove this in any sense, I know, but I have not seen any evidence that it does, so I tend to follow Occum's Razor. Feel free to respond however you will, I want to see how everyone really is, no pandering.
