Joseph
I am now approved for Baptist Board....the funny thing is that I was denied membership back in April. I put I was 'Catholic' both times. I put my favorite verse as Matthew 16:18-19 "And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Let's see what kind of trouble I can get into there
melporcristo
Hey friends -- Just posted on RELEVANT MAGAZINE's forum. If none of you know what this 'zine is, check it out!! It's actually pretty non-denominational, when I say this, I mean it touches base on like all issues relevant to the Christian culture and more. So I posted on there and there is actually a few people who posted something about our Holy Father in the hospital ... SO, I jumped in, let them know to pray for him and his intentions and to come to phatmass cause they started to talk about the scandals and the papicy. Fun stuff thanks for having us do that dUSt!! gr8 idea

Thy Geekdom Come
what? are they afraid of the truth?
Vincible ignorance...they are happier hating our religion with a deep-seated fear that they are hating something they should be loving...probably too scrupulous to look into Catholicism seriously, for the remote fear that they may be going "pagan"...happier hating Catholicism than they think they would be if they embraced it and were hated themselves. Joseph
I don't even know where to start in regards to the posts there! There is quite a bit of truth that needs to be set free...
jezic
sadly this ignorance should almost be expected. Jesus often talked about us (true followers) not being part of the world and how it would hate us. I think that this is true today as well as then. I wish people would be more open but Jesus also did say the faith of a mustard seed can move a mountain. SO i guess we need to practice being mustard seeds. Mrs. Bro. Adam
This message is at the top of their board: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The BaptistBoard is designed primarily for Baptists. Half of the forums are restricted to active members in Baptist churches. The remainder are open to allow folks who claim any "christian" religious affiliation to post freely. Recently we asked certain non-Baptist posters to not "proselytize" their religion, not to declare that "salvation was only through their church". This is NOT a forum to try to cast doubt on a person's relationship with the Lord or to try to convert someone weak in the faith to another religion. Since certain posters continued to violate that basic request and would not temper their language, we have had to take away their privilege of posting on the BaptistBoard. This is a "last step" that we personally wished we did not have to take. We thought it important to let everyone see that our actions were not capricious or out of anger. Thank you all for understanding.
I think they banned me for the fun of it. Never once tried to convert, although I did tell them that their actions were very unkind, unChristlike. Never got suspended, nor a warning about being banned. Just went to work one day, and was told that my account on BB wasn't working by my husband. Then when I asked, they woudln't tell me. Of course, two months later they had someone email me the 'reason'. Interestingly enough, it was a 'concern' that happened once, and wasn't under my name. They changed the password to a private forum, and you have to enter it every time that you try and get in the forum. They are drunk with power, nothing more, nothing less. Mrs. Bro. Adam
Oh...btw- :wavey: Hi Baptistboard members! I know you're reading this thread, since you have decided that all Catholics are evil and going straight to Hell. I know how you lurk boards to find those Catholics who are strong in their faith and would come and try and converse with you, but you know that you would lose each debate, because you do not have the whole truth, you have some truth, but not all truth. Why don't you go read your Bible, and then read the Catechism, which is not the 'second Catholic Bible' but simply the statement of our faith. Don't think I'm stupid. Regardless of what you'd want to think, there was no rule/guideling on the Baptistboard that I broke, but simply banned me because my husband was becoming Catholic. You banned me, a fellow Baptist at the time, because of the hatred in your hearts for my husband. Shame on all of you! If you think that hating Catholics, your brothers and sisters in Christ, will get you closer to heaven, you're quite mistaken, because it is leading you further away from heaven. Go pray, in fact, go pray a rosary! Pray a Hail Mary! Pray to the saints. They are alive, you know. Who better to bring your request to God than those already in His glory. Because God and heaven is outside of time, those who have gone before us can hear us. Pray to your Mother in heaven. Pray to her Son. But whatever you do, quit hating, because that leads you nowhere fast. I know what Baptistboard is. It's a corrupted site with corrupted members, who will do anythign to make themselves look more righteous. Shame on all of you! I wouldn't be surprised if Klint Krizter and Barnabas and the webmaster, even Dr. Bob are reading this. Hi! Ya'll need to go to your brothers and sisters in prayer to. You need to go to your Mother and her Son in prayer as well. Face it. You've got a glimpse of truth, quit trying to keep from discovering the rest. For when you do discover it, it will be the happiest day of your life. :wavey:
