Chris Zewe III
Oh for pity's sake... I don't mean flourishing in that there is some sort of random satanic conspiracy to take over the world. That's just ridiculous. I hate to break it to you, though, there is definitely a strong, although small, intact Satanict community out there, even of the Theistic variety.
You just said it's small, yet minutes ago you called it flourishing. You are PHALE.

Antonius
I was an apprentice to a vodoo Witch doctor growing up as a boy on the south west side of Mbandaka, Congo. Kilroy the Ninja
I was Wiccan. Hardcore, man. WIccan is a tough spot to get out of because it makes you feel good. It makes you feel right. Everything was about drawing off of emotions for me.
I know exactly how you feel! This is why I was wiccan too! And yes, I cast some spells. Let me tell you, spell casting is real. You are playing with forces you cannot begin to comprehend. Fortunately for me my guardian angel was looking out for me at a time when no one else really was. He turned me back to God without me even knowing it. But I don't know if I qualify as a convert. I'm a cradle Catholic who kinda fell away, then got into wicca for a while, then came back. Re-vert maybe....
Paphnutius
If it's small, it clearly isn't doing well, nor is it prospering.
To flourish is a relative word. It means that it is doing better than it was at time X. It is larger than when it started=flourishing, succesful. It has more of an influence than when it started=flourishing, succesful It's membership is not declining=doing well Please do not turn this section of the website into a debate. There is a seperate board for that. It was a simple statement and it appears that it was taken to a fine literal point to start a fight.
... when I was in highschool I was into the "goth" thing (ya know the rock listenin to kidz that wear all black) and I remember how my one boyfriend thought it was so "cool" to have a Satanic Bible and that it made him "uber goth" (the goth kids at my school liked to insert German words like "uber" ramdomly in conversations)... arg... Most of the kids in the little "goth" clique weren't into that stupid carp...but still...it was funny (funny in that "haha you're an idiot" kind of way)... ... also, in addition to all the Wicca talk... what's up with all the stupid "ahhh ooohh did you do spells" questions? I studied Wicca for a while and found it to be quite boring and the spells never worked...maybe it's just because I never really believed in it Edited March 18, 2005 by MamimiFista

I'm not saying I'm special or anything, but they did work for me and as the sayings go, one has to be very, very careful what they wish for and they shouldn't play with power beyond their control. I found spells to be tedious, but then I find alot of things that way these days.

Angel
The interesting thing about Satanism is that they're essentially Catholics--or at least Christians--who are just rooting for the other team. Ugh... I get the chills just thinking about it. -Mark
I unfortunately have met someone like this and had to find out the hard way. I didnt realize people could actually pretend to be christians but really be working for the enemy, it is a very scary thing when so many people can be fooled. I sensed it, i can always tell when someone has a pure and true loving heart for Jesus and when they dont. Guy was actually pretending to be a youth minister but he's satanic. He thinks he has Soul, but hes no Man.
