Luthien
Love your sig, by the way You aren't the first, you won't be the last. Out of 25 million Catholics in America, I suspect you would discover not only are you not alone, but you have a lot of company. Everybody else has covered the rest of that thought, and I won't beat the dead horse any further. You've obviously throught about it and repented. But you still feel a burden. Pray to Jesus to take the burden . . . he's taken worse. Offer this up and move forward. You have an awareness of the values you cherish . . . follow that image . . . hold on to them . . . seek them out . . . live them from now on (and forget the past, Jesus does, Mary does, God does) As a practical matter, if a man can be ordained a priest after living "the life" . . . if Augustine could be ordained, and be a Bishop, and a Church Father, after being a libertine, you can still be a "good" Catholic girl . . . and, if that is where you are led, I suspect an even better Catholic wife and mother. . . or missionary . . . or professional . . . or whatever or wherever you are called to be
*clap clap* Thank you. heyyoimjohnny
Oy vey, girl. Sounds like you're seriously underestimating the power of love and forgiveness. If a guy wouldn't be with you because of who you were, he's not a guy worth being with anyways. A truly decent Catholic guy would see who you ARE. There's no need to look at the past when the present is so beautiful, y'know? Don't despair, have a little faith, and you will find freedom. You can be loved, and you are.

You deserve respect because you are a daughter of God, heir to the throne and nobody can take that away. You have the same right to demand respect from others just like anyone else - and you should. Say it with me, "I am beautiful." God created you and then know what He said? "And it is good." By the Way delta 555 I love the Dancing StrongBad. Bathazor is my last name , I also realize that Balthazar is a resturant in New York, and that Balthezar is a demon on the TV show "Charmed".....don't quote me on this I don't watch it, and Also Balthazar is supposed to be one of the three wise men from the east. I think it is funny.

Cathurian
God loves you We have all sinned -- many have sinned far worse than you, and repented. They can forgive you. And all those "perfect" people? If they're really very good, they will be able to forgive you, too. After all, Jesus forgave the adulteress and the prostitute! Many prayers and God bless. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
