spathariossa
I was gonna add the passion of Joan of Arc. I cried during that movie a lot. Which was bad because it was being shown in a big college lecture class. So I had to pretend like I wasn't.

[/quote] Is it just me or do schools and colleges tend to show very sad movies for some reason ? I mean I've had the same thing happen to me, but we watched Song of St. Bernadette, I can't help but cry through that movie no matter how many times I see it. Instead they have this funky spread eagle image of the risen christ surrounded by the "universe" (think funky expressionist stuff) etched onto glass that then supposedly reflects back onto a plain wooden cross. My friend and I agree that this is so monstrous it is exactly equivalent to a "buddy Christ." Catholicism Wow!

A friend of mine has a "buddy Christ" statue on her desk.

Seatbelt Blue
geniuses Rush In. That is a movie with a Catholic point of view if ever there was one. Basic summary? Matthew Perry goes to Las Vegas, has a one-nighter with Salma Hayek, who shows up three months later, pregnant. He falls for her all over again and they get married that night. A fantastic movie about two people trying to build a love relationship, and deals with the working of God in this world.
