How Did You Introduce Yourself

It took a while for me to find this in that 100+ page thread, but its amusing:
Hey everyone, sorry I forgot to introduce myself earlier. I'm a 'cradle catholic'. My name is Rich and i live in Canada. I want to be a hippy when I grow up (not too seriously) and my heros are Bob Dylan and any Saint. I go to a Jesuit school and my favourite part of being Catholic is the feeling after Confession/Reconcilliation. Thanks for having me haha
I haven't changed at all

:peace:,

Rich

Thy Geekdom Come

I introduced myself as a grade A jerk with a lot of nervous tendencies:
Hello all!
I'm new, any advice?

I come from the Catholic forum at www.bolt.com, and I have found that your site has much more to offer, with no annoying adds yet (I'm so SICK of pop-ups ).

Please know that I am a seminarian and know Latin, so if anyone is discerning a vocation, has a question on apologetics, or would like to know the meaning of "Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam," I will be more than willing to help.

In Christ,
Raphael (not my real name)

My name is Laura. Most of my aquaintances from school call me Hughey.

I am 17 years old and am living in Dallas, TX. I will be a senior this year and I'm pumped! I attend a theatre magnet here in town and I like it a lot! I do have a passion for acting and to be able to let that out for two and three hours a day AT LEAST is wonderful.

I have two siblings, both much younger than I. My sister, Eve, is 8 and my brother, Joseph is 6 but will be 7 on December 1 of this year.

Cool story with my brother (long story short): when he was born he was very sick, spent about the first year and a half of his life in two Children's Hospitals getting tests and all sorts of things. Doctors never could figure out what was wrong with him, he was a very rare case of.... something. They still don't know. The cool thing though is that when he was born they said that he would not live past six, meaning he would not see his 7th birthday. My family was devastated. But, coming on about 4 months until his 7th birthday, we are all very excited and proud of this strong little boy. He's awesome.

Anyway, I like theatre, choir, dancing when no one is watching, biking, blading, skiing (water and snow), snowboarding, tubing, hiking, running, reading, praying, being with people who share my faith, and going to Mass. Of course there are many other things I enjoy but I won't bore you with those details.

Don't know what else there is to tell.
I'm excited about phatmass on August 7th!!!!
I really, really like the Fransiscan Friars of the Renewal!!
I believe like 6 of them came with us to World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto!
They were all so cool! So yeah, I'm really excited!

Anyway, that is all I suppose.
God bless!

in Christ,
Laura
